LG Bliss Black (US Cellular)

LG Bliss Black (US Cellular) is a new product of LG that lends a sleek framework, 3.0in touchscreen, 2.0MP snappy facility, EV-DO, GPS, the HTML browser, and above all a finer calling functionality either.

The LG’s this latest model is a substantially better handset for U.S. Cellular, yet this mobile’s design gives an indication of a bit cheap and the browser doesn't support Flash Lite. Additionally this gadget is offering band / mode of CDMA2000 1X 1900/800, usability support, like talk time up to 270min; that also includes using of digital camera, and digital player either.

This new string has a nice browser that comes included however it is still no where as good as the Opera Mini browser. I installed Opera Mini on this phone and have a problem where the Browser it self works, but My keyboard doesn't show up on the touch screen which prevents me from being allowed to enter in URLS and actually visit any sites other then the default bookmarks. So Opera Mini at this time is completely useless on the phone.

An additional hitch is its Bell that requires me to charge USD 8 per month to access Hotmail and Gmail through the provided e-mail application. It cost me nothing to access using my software on the HTC touch and also I was able to install G-Mail and use it freely. Bell store rep hid this fact from me and I can't even return my phone now since I've exceeded the 30 minutes of talk time. So now I have to pay USD 8 a month to access my e-mails from hotmail and g-mail accounts.

LG Bliss also doesn't let you install, Google maps, G-Mail App or any other Google applications. The GPS software that's included with the phone costs USD 10 per month to use. Bell also has blocked the right to install 3rd party software on this phone as well. I have tried installing free GPS apps that work with these LG phones however some sort of BELL firewall blocks your ability to even download these free GPS applications. So be prepared to actually pay to use GPS on your phone as Bell has decided to kill competition with this firewall.
