Canon PowerShot SX120

Canon PowerShot SX120 IS offers 10MP snappy facility, with its brightest resolution formats like for stills 3648 by 2736 and for videos 640 by 480, with its finer image stabilization types of optical and digital. This Canon PowerShot SX120 IS is offered on the retail price of USD 249.99.

Canon PowerShot SX120 IS has the dimensional specs like width 4.4in, height 2.8in, and depth 1.8in whilst its weight is 10.4oz (with battery and other multimedia).

Amazingly 10x optical zooming lens, is the major feature of this latest series, its 35mm equivalent of 36-360mm means that you will be able to get incredibly close to distant objects that most other digicams badly lag behind in this area.

With a view to enhance its operational ability and make this gizmo entirely user friendly, whilst you employ its large lens is an indication of finer built-in optical image stabilization. Moreover, steadying the lens, it also allows you to shoot handheld without a flash at slower shutter speeds than a camera without.

This camera is attaching AA rated 2 Batteries, which are sufficient for over 130 images. This series adds Canon’s DIGIC 4 processor – delivering fast response times and natural color reproduction. DIGIC 4 also takes care of difficult lighting conditions with i-Contrast – a technology which prevents highlight blowout, whilst retaining shadow feature.

The series PowerShot SX120 IS includes few more features, like Smart Auto and Easy modes with Scene Detection Technology. Before getting the shots, it mechanically analyzes and then starts taking snaps from the people, distance, brightness and colour in the scene by selecting one, out of 18 scene variables to optimize settings for the best results - freeing the user to concentrate on picture taking, while the camera takes care of the technical details.
