Acer Aspire One 751h

Acer Aspire One 751h is the latest production of Acer that bundles with it the features, 11.6in widescreen, 1366×768 display resolution, Intel GMA 500 graphics Chipset, memory capacity of 2GB RAM, and relatively low storage capacity to many other latest model laptops, like 160GB HDD 5400rpm.

This model Aspire One is supporting substantial battery capacity like 6-8 hours that truly is great; weight can’t be beat, email wireless is excellent; and the addition of the external microchip is a value added.

Some counter productive features like, Acer’s service support is not satisfactory. Website is not user friendly, calls to the office number is futile, and registration submission is impossible.

The outcome is that, laptop producing companies don’t given importance to service and assistance to their end users that is entirely bad. Toshiba, Dell and Asus are to some extent doing well let us see ahead Acer should also come out of this unlikely approach to the end-users.

The slightly larger chassis of Acer Aspire One AO751h-1545 to be an excellent compromise between size and usability and we could see this becoming a popular choice. The catch is that Acer has decided to use the 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 as its CPU, instead of the faster (and much more common) 1.6GHz Atom N270 version.

There is no huge difference in raw performance, but in an already pokey Netbook, and powering a higher-res 1,366x768 display, it made the Aspire One AO751h just slow enough to be noticeably annoying--so much so that we got frustrated with it on a regular basis.

Acer is performing on a potentially much faster 11.6-inch system with an Intel ULV processor, purportedly to be called the Acer Timeline 1810T.

Relatively few other series, this 751h is a more-than-capable portable computer as long as you remove resource-hogging applications (like antivirus software) and bump the RAM up to two gigabytes. I had no problems using the computer day after day to surf the internet using Google Chrome with multiple tabs open, play some old-school games (Risk II, Sim City 3000, etc.), and post stuff to CrunchGear.

Acer’s AO751h isn't just about its "big" screen. It has large, beefy buttons; a rugged (though not ruggedized) plastic shell; and good battery life. It all comes in a sassy chassis that's small and sturdy enough to make a great go-to machine when you're on the go. So why am I not 100 percent enamored with this netbook.
