Nokia N97

You might be feeling sheer disquiet that after Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Touchscreen, which Nokia series may ensue.  No need to astonish any more – new Nokia N97 that supports a 3.5” touchscreen, 48GB memory and a slither-out complete keypad will reach to the open houses sooner or later, to satisfy the urge of its admirers.

The Nokia N97 mainly sharing the appearances of many series like iPhone, Google G1 phone, and AT&T Tilt.  Honestly speaking, the Nokia N97’s series gives a superb impression through its 3.5 inch display, thereby overriding all other cell phones.

Yet its one counter element, that a button underneath the Mobile, at the left side corner that supports for shortcut keys to the N series multimedia software, can largely miss the attention of the viewer, yet owing to this – its significance can’t be underrated.

The calling and ending buttons are touch receptive, similar to the ROKR E8.  On the top of the Nokia N97, there are the 3.5 mm headphone jack and the power button.  The Nokia N97 is primarily a little bit bigger and thicker relatively to iPhone and when you slither out the keyboard it will remind you of HTC TvTN II with its diagonal screen.

This latest cell phone gives a feeling of quite compact to hold it, and in case your clasp is small, than the mobile will prove larger than your hands.  The keypad provides a perfect typing facility and you may not find any difficulty that you may type two words – at the same time – no absolutely not, that is not the case with N87 string.

The main reason of smaller buttons relatively to other keypads, is to create space for the directional pad flanked on left.  The N87’s slithering technology gives the sense of quite hard.

Nokia N97 is reviewed here on the basis of its beta version, yet I would like to let you know that, Nokia has advanced the Symbian OS to work well with touchscreen.  As compared to Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, Nokia has fine tuned this latest gadget, with a view to provide increased features out of Nokia N97.

When you may require, having a contrast with Nokia XpressMusic beta version, the Nokia N97 interface is simply fast and receptive, one can hardly view any glitch on the accelerometer switch or whilst one is navigating the Symbian OS.
